There's no way from a laundry list that anyone is going to be able to tell you what you'd get for those coins as a set.

The condition of the coins is everything when it comes to what it's worth. Here's just one example:
Item #40. Depending on condition, the value ranges from about a buck to several thousand dollars, and "great" condition doesn't tell us enough. What you think is "great" condition might not turn out to actually be that high a grade coin.

If you want to find out what the whole collection is worth, you're going to need to take it to a coin dealer who can actually see and grade the coins.

If you're in a city of any size, find a reputable coin dealer and take them to him and see what kind of offer he'd make. If you're satisfied with it, take the deal.

If you feel you could do better on e-bay, refuse the offer and make his offer your reserve and go from there.

Good luck.

We have a bullet-resistant BMW from the factory. It does allow you to roll down the window for a few inches on the driver side only.

Factory installed armor offer roll-down windows as options (at least with Audi), but armoring outside of the factory usually do not offer it as it involves a lot of modifications.

The ability to roll down a window, depends on the glass curvature and on the thickness of the glass, or the armor level. Too thick and too curved and it will "intrude" into the interior at the bottom.

But yeah, forget doing that on a convertible.

Looks like your first responder covered Canadian silver quarters pretty well.

While it is true that the US last made silver quarters for circulation in 1964, the US Mint does still make silver quarters today in special "silver proof sets" See the online catalog at www.usmint.gov

Bare-breasted SLQs were only minted in 1916 and 1917. The 1916 issue is rare.

The four quarters, unless they are _extremely_ nice uncirculated examples, are probably going to sell for melt. There were just too many of them made and saved in nice condition for them to have much of a premium.

Same situation with the 1951. No mintmark would mean it was made in Philadelphia, but the mintmark wasn't in the same place as it is now. Back then, it was on the reverse, between the bottom of the wreath and where it says "Quarter Dollar".

The dime could be worth melt, or it could be worth a lot of money. Without knowing the year and the condition, it's impossible to say. The mintmark on Mercs was also on the reverse, to the right of the word "ONE". Again, no mintmark means Philadelphia.

The '63 and '64 proof sets are also not worth a huge premium, unless there is something special about the coins. If any of the coins are cameos, of course those are worth more, depending on how strong the effect is. Also, in 1964, some of the early Kennedy half-dollar proofs are a variety called "accented hair"--there was more detail in Kennedy's hair than on proofs made later. Those have a premium, but not a large one.

I've never been a big fan of the unopened envelope proof set craze. First, it is possible to steam open and reseal the envelopes, and it's even possible to buy reproduction envelopes, and seal the coins in them, which means it's possible that it's not actually an "unopened" set at all. The coins are protected in the plastic, so it's not like they'll tarnish if the envelope is opened. Second, I really like to see what I'm buying, so I'd rather look at them and see whether they're gorgeous coins, or dogs.

A good book to start with would be the Red Book--or it's official name "A Guide Book of United States Coins". You'll be able to go to any coin dealer and ask for a Red Book, and they'll know what you mean. You can also find it on Amazon.

No I did not find myself rooting against them. The bad calls went both ways.

I love it when non-BCS teams make it to BCS bowls. So far they are 2-0. The Mountain West and the WAC champion is just as deserving of an automatic bid as the Big East champion.

Hawaii showed they are champions by keeping their cool and coming back. West Virginia didn't.
