Question by bigseb31213: Are all pre- 1976 US quarters silver?
I found a quarter from 1973, and I wanted to know if it was actually silver.

All general circulation quarters from 1965 to date are a copper-nickel composition and do not contain any silver. Quarters dated prior to 1965 are 90% silver and 10% copper.
